Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, monitor, and repair a wide range of systems, utilities, and equipment across hospital facilities. The role involves preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and quick repairs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include documenting issues, following work orders, monitoring the Building Automation System, and coordinating with Public Safety during emergencies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, monitor, and repair building systems, utilities, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Clean machines and parts, oils and lubricates moving parts.
• Record and report damaged or worn parts; identify causes of breakdowns.
• Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently; adhere to work orders.
• Monitor Building Automation System and respond to alarms and interruptions.
• Maintain inventory records and perform minor repair tasks as needed.
