Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a General Maintenance Worker for day shift, responsible for repairs, installations, and preventive/corrective maintenance of hospital facilities, equipment, and vehicles under supervision of licensed plumber. Overtime may be required.

Position offers a $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00am–3:30pm; high school diploma or GED preferred; 1 year general maintenance experience and 3 years skilled trade preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree vocational or specialized training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, installations, and preventive/corrective maintenance on hospital buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.
• Assist licensed plumber with plumbing assignments.
• Work with other trades as needed and maintain documentation in CMMS system.
