Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform repairs, installations, and preventive/corrective maintenance on hospital buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.

Under licensed trades guidance, you will support plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other trades, assist with project work, and help maintain a safe, efficient environment for patients and staff. High school diploma or GED preferred; drivers license required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related general maintenance experience required.
• 3 years experience with skilled trade work preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical Training Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, installations and preventive/corrective maintenance on hospital buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles.
• Assists licensed plumbers with plumbing tasks and partners with Electricians, Carpenters and Painters as needed.
• Keeps records and documents work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Attends in-service education classes as directed.
• Supports project work and new equipment installations.

Works under the guidance of a licensed plumber to assist with plumbing assignments.
