Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems across multiple Phoenix-area buildings. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and responsive service to support hospital operations.

You will handle light electrical/plumbing tasks, maintain documentation, and coordinate with other trades. A valid driver’s license and strong communication are required for success in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of diversified maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license where required.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance and construction documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities infrastructure and equipment.
• Handle light electrical and light plumbing tasks.
• Work on items such as ceilings, beds, nurses call systems, pneumatic tube, elevators, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Coordinate with other trades and external contractors as needed to complete tasks.
• Maintain records and documentation of maintenance activities and compliance.
