Qualifications

• High school or vocational school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years similar healthcare facilities environment desired.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Clean machines and parts, install parts as needed.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts for optimal performance.
• Record and report damaged or worn parts.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair promptly.
• Adhere to work orders and conduct building tours as directed.
• Update inventory list as needed.
• Monitor Building Automation System and respond to alarms and notify as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues on all hospital floors.
• Maintain communication with Public Safety.
• Respond to emergencies and off-shift problems as required.
