Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH seeks a Carpenter Painter/Project Coordinator to lead project work within the facilities department, coordinating renovations and ensuring safety and quality standards across hospital and satellite sites.

You will manage schedules, supervise carpentry and painting tasks, perform maintenance, and ensure compliance with NFPA/OSHA and infection control requirements, reporting to the Director of Facilities Maintenance & Security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of construction project management experience including carpentry and painting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Facilities point of contact for project work induction for the hospital and satellite sites.
• Coordinate renovations, modifications and construction projects.
• Coordinate project work schedule with hospital personnel and medical staff.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems related to the physical plant.
• Ensure Life Safety/Fire Safety requirements are met for all projects.
