Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Part-time Environmental Services Aide at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The role involves cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, and associated surfaces to meet hospital standards.

This position requires attention to safety, customer service, and adherence to department processes within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role is 20 hours per week with a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years experience with prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, strips, polishes and refinishes floors using appropriate equipment and/or supplies.
• Operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical, such as ringers and vacuums.
• Analyzes floor or carpet conditions and determines proper cleaning techniques per department processes.
• Maintains hard surface floors and carpets following department procedures.
• Demonstrates commitment to satisfying customer needs and exceeding expectations.
