Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeping worker to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. The role covers cleaning patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, and offices, following the 8-step cleaning method and ensuring approved standards are met.

Shifts include 7:00am–3:30pm with weekend and holiday rotations; minimum hiring wage starts at $16.50 per hour. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; good English, time management, and reliability are valued

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of English language, spelling, grammar.
• Understanding of time management and task prioritization.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.

Mansioni

• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Follow chemical cleaner procedures to protect floors.
• Gather and empty trash and recycling.
• Safely clean around therapy swimming pool as needed.
• Service, clean, and stock restrooms.
• Extract or shampoo carpets.
• Clean patient rooms, offices, public areas, procedure rooms.
