Job summary

Great River Health seeks a reliable environmental services worker to maintain clean and safe patient rooms, offices, and public areas. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, linen replenishment, and adherence to safety procedures to ensure standards are met across departments and clinics.

Prior cleaning experience and a basic grasp of English are preferred. Weekend and holiday rotations may apply; compensation starts at the indicated hiring wage and grows with responsibilities

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Good command of English language basics.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet cleaning schedules.
• Knowledge of safe chemical use and disposal practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, restrooms and lounges.
• Fill dispensers, change linens, collect trash and maintain orderly spaces.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines; may assist with pool areas.
