Job summary

Great River Health is seeking an EVS Technician to perform routine cleaning and environmental services in West Burlington, IA. The role ensures patient rooms, public areas, lounges and restrooms are clean, safe and orderly in alignment with hospital standards.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, restocking, and ensuring clean environments. Experience preferred; HS diploma or GED helpful; position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas, lounges and restrooms to hospital standards.
• Follow chemical handling and safety procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces; replenish dispensers and supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling; assist with linen and bed making.
• May assist with disposal of patient information and pool area cleaning if required.
