Mercyhealth is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and shared areas on the 2nd shift. You will perform floor care, prepare rooms, and ensure supplies are in place while adhering to infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities include thorough cleaning of rooms, proper chemical handling, and coordination with departments for special projects. A high school diploma and prior cleaning experience are preferred, with benefits offered by Mercyhealth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience helpful.
• Knowledge of infection prevention standards is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Thorough cleaning of patient rooms, floors, and ancillary areas.
• Perform floor care, dusting, and scrubbing surfaces per procedure.
• Follow isolation and infection prevention standards at all times.
• Mix and store chemicals with correct dilution ratios and use PPE.
• Replenish supplies and prepare rooms for patient safety and comfort.
• Report safety hazards and coordinate with supervisors for repairs.
