Mercyhealth is hiring an Environmental Services Technician for the second shift in Wisconsin. You will perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms and ancillary areas, adhere to isolation procedures, and maintain equipment in a neat, safe condition.

The role includes coordinating with departments for projects and using EPIC to manage bed statuses. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior EVS experience is helpful and a strong attention to detail is essential for

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience helpful.
• Adheres to unit policies and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Thorough cleaning of assigned areas including furniture, tile, fixtures, and carpet.
• Follow isolation and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain EVS closet and equipment; report hazards and repair needs.
• Replenish supplies and assist with room preparation for patients.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Adhere to regulations and proper waste handling.
