Corewell Health is hiring an Environmental Service Technician at Gerber Hospital in Fremont, MI. The role focuses on cleaning, disinfecting, and stocking patient rooms and related areas while maintaining floors, carpets, and upholstery.

You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous service and a positive work environment, with no prior experience required and on-the-job training provided. The position is part-time (20 hours/week), daytime shifts with varying hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: public service and/or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain hard floors, carpets, and upholstery per standards.
• Assemble, maintain and store equipment and supplies to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital.
