Job summary

Corewell Health in Troy, MI is seeking an Environmental Service Technician. You will clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, and handle linens and waste while maintaining floors, carpets, and upholstery. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

You will work with the Environmental Services team across sites as needed, with a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., part-time, 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Public service or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain floors, carpets and upholstery; assist with routine cleaning tasks as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to ensure continuity of services.
