Job summary

Bronson LakeView Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for the second shift to uphold infection control standards and ensure clean, safe patient rooms, public areas, and surgical suites. You will maintain supplies, equipment, and common areas while following the health system’s policies and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes independent work, clear communication in English, strong customer service, and collaboration with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Independently able to perform cleaning and infection-control tasks.
• Able to communicate in English with staff and patients.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lb) and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English with departmental staff and internal and external customers.
• Must possess interpersonal skills that represent Bronson in a positive and professional manner.
• Must exhibit excellent customer service skills, thoroughness and time management skills.
