Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. This full‑time role on the 2nd shift (4pm–12:30am) offers a competitive salary, benefits from day one, and opportunities to grow within the Environmental Services team.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, public areas and surgical spaces; stocking supplies; following infection control guidelines; and collaborating with the Environmental

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Must communicate in English (spoken and written) at least 8th grade level.
Able to work independently and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, public areas, surgical areas, and other spaces as assigned
Stock supplies and keep equipment clean and in working order
Follow safety and infection-control guidelines to ensure a clean, safe environment
Provide excellent service to hospital staff and patients
Collaborate with Environmental Services Manager to complete tasks to high standards
Follow detailed instructions and check work to meet quality standards
