Job summary

Bronson LakeView Hospital is hiring an EVS Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain environmental and infection control standards. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms, public areas, surgical areas, stocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment while adhering to regulatory requirements. Excellent customer service and English communication are essential.

External candidates may receive a Sign-On Bonus up to $750 and a Retention Bonus of $750. 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written) with staff and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with time management.
• Must possess interpersonal skills and provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of patient rooms (occupied and unoccupied), public areas and surgical areas according to policy.
• Stock supplies, clean and maintain equipment, and assist with laundry where required.
• Follow isolation procedures and regulatory requirements (CDC/OSHA/EPA/Joint Commission).
• Operate cleaning equipment and UV disinfection devices as needed.
• Document and maintain records of cleaning tasks; coordinate with nursing staff.
• Direct visitors and communicate service requests; ensure confidentiality per HIPAA.
