Job summary

OSS Health is seeking an Environmental Service Tech for the Inpatient Unit and OR at our York, PA location. This full-time, on-site role focuses on daily cleaning, supply handling, waste management, and maintaining sterile environments in patient areas.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to lift and perform strenuous work. Prior healthcare EVS experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift and perform strenuous work.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and supply of the Clinic and administrative areas.
• Floor maintenance for hard and carpeted surfaces.
• Process general and medical waste per hospital policy.
• Respond to emergencies and safety incidents.
• Move furniture and set up meeting rooms.
