OSS Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician for the Inpatient Unit and OR, full-time on-site in York, PA. You will handle daily cleaning, supply rooms, and maintain safe, sanitary conditions across clinical areas, following hospital policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous Environmental Services experience in healthcare preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply clinics, admin areas, PT areas, waiting rooms using approved chemicals.
• Perform daily floor maintenance on hard floors and carpets.
• Process general/medical waste per hospital policy.
• Respond to emergencies and codes per procedures.
• Move furniture and set up meeting rooms as needed.
• Maintain and report equipment issues to supervisor.
