Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Environmental Services Operations Manager to support EVS leadership by directing Housekeeping operations and coordinating front-line staff. You will liaise between administration and hospital departments to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include staffing plans, hiring and training, inspections, monthly performance reporting, and coordinating external services.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Supervisory experience in housekeeping or service-related field with high customer contact.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and review standards and work procedures for Housekeeping staff.
• Plan staff schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assist in hiring, interview, and training of new associates.
• Orient and supervise all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conduct inspections and make facility recommendations.
• Monthly reporting of goals and plans.
• Staff education and training.
• Coordinate with administration and other departments.
• Coordinate outside services (Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, etc.).
