LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA is seeking a Coordinator Environmental Services to lead and supervise the department across the hospital, ensuring a sanitary environment and adherence to State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission standards while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires coordinating all Environmental Services activities, driving improvements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospital and health care operations.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in food services or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises the Environmental Services department within assigned hospital locations.
• Ensures a sanitary environment and compliance with State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations and department standards.
• Coordinates the effective operation of all Environmental Services activities to provide an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment.
