Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System in Virginia seeks an Environmental Services team member to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will perform daily cleaning in assigned areas with attention to infection control and safety.

This role emphasizes flexibility, adherence to policies, and opportunities to contribute to a large health system. A high school diploma is preferred and 1 year of housekeeping experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, and patient rooms.
• Perform maintenance and restorative cleaning as needed.
• Follow Infection Control policies and use proper lifting techniques.
• Adapt to areas shifts as Hospital Environmental Services leadership assigns.
