Job summary

MANASSAS HEALTH CARE LLC is seeking a hands-on Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to lead our EVS team and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The EVS Director will supervise staff, develop cleaning routines, and partner with maintenance, nursing, and other departments to deliver high-quality care in a comfortable living setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing Environmental Services or similar.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation and infection control practices.
• Ability to follow written policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to train, supervise and evaluate staff.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Environmental Services team.
• Develop and maintain cleaning routines (daily/weekly/monthly/annual).
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach EVS staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention across the center.
• Manage records, logs, schedules and equipment care.
• Collaborate with maintenance, nursing, dietary and other departments.
