Banner Staffing Services-WR in Colorado is hiring an Environmental Services worker to keep patient rooms and areas clean, safe, and welcoming. You will perform dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing while following department policies.

This Registry/Per Diem role offers flexible scheduling with shifts starting at 6am and ending by 2:30pm. Prior cleaning experience is preferred; benefits vary by assignment and location.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively by phone and verbally.
• Must be able to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) as directed.
• Empties hampers, disposes of trash, and handles medical waste.Restocks supplies in assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage.
• May perform special projects like window washing or wall cleaning.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors, aiming for high customer service.
• Works under supervision within a facility/area and serves internal and external customers.
