• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication by phone and verbally.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS and instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain facilities and an Arizona Criminal History Affidavit is signed at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing.
• Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, and removes trash including medical waste.
• Inventory, restock and replenish supplies in assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage; report repairs as needed.
• Perform special projects such as windows washing and wall cleaning.
• Respond to patient, staff and visitor questions; aim for high customer service.
