Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to clean patient rooms and general spaces across the health system. You will follow infection control procedures and established disinfection guidelines, maintaining high cleaning standards in designated areas.

The role requires the ability to use cleaning equipment, manage supplies, and respond to cleaning assignments via paging systems. This is an ECB, as-needed position with limited benefits and variable hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety signage and instructions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and working conditions.
• Customer service driven mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to use a phone/paging system for cleaning assignments.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas throughout the facilities.
• Maintains flooring by cleaning, buffing, and applying sealers/finish.
• Operates power equipment and hand tools for floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
• Provides waste collection and removal including biomedical waste and recycling.
• Mixes cleaning solutions and uses appropriate methods for different surfaces.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and supplies like toilet paper and soap.
• Carries out bed tracking tasks as needed.
• Reports maintenance or repair needs to management.
