Qualifications

• Reads, writes, understands oral instructions and safety signage.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements for the job.
• Customer service oriented and able to interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to use phone/paging system for cleaning assignments.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying sealers/finish.
• Uses and maintains power equipment and hand tools for floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
• Provides waste collection and removal including biomedical waste, recycling, and trash receptacles.
• Mixes and dispenses cleaning solutions; follows proper methods for different surfaces.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and items such as toilet paper, towels, and soap.
• Performs bed tracking tasks as needed and reports maintenance needs.
