Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Services Worker to clean patient rooms and general spaces across our health system facilities, following safe work practices and infection control guidelines.

The role focuses on maintaining areas to optimal cleaning standards, uses power equipment for floors, supports waste removal, restocks supplies, and coordinates with staff to ensure timely cleaning assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand safety instructions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Customer service oriented and able to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitizing in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Maintains flooring care including cleaning, buffing, and applying sealant/finish.
• Uses power equipment and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture.
• Provides waste collection and disposal including recycling and trash receptacles.
• Prepares and mixes cleaning solutions and follows surface-specific methods.
• Restocks cleaning supplies and various items such as toilet paper and soap.
• Carries out bed tracking tasks and reports maintenance needs to management.
