Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking staff to join Nutrition Services to support patient meal service, answer calls, assemble trays, and maintain dish and tray operations. You will work with a team to ensure timely delivery, accurate order assembly, and clean, safe food handling in a fast-paced hospital setting.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop skills and grow within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year of relevant experience.
• Customer service and/or other related experience.
• No experience is required; you will be trained and supported.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines with dishes, utensils and food items.
• Prepares and assembles cold items and stores, refrigerates and dates items.
• Serves food as directed and replenishes as needed.
• Cleans stations and equipment; operates dishwashing and cash handling tasks.
• Delivers trays to patients; verifies room, bed, birth dates and patient names.
