Job summary

Corewell Health's Nutrition Services team invites you to participate in all aspects of patient meal service. Responsibilities include answering phones, assembling trays, cleaning and sanitizing dishes and equipment, delivering and picking up meals, and managing stock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient meal service including accurate portioning and presentation of menu items, set up of tray assembly station, and tray assembly.
• Transport tray carts and deliver trays to patients; collect soiled trays and return to kitchen.
• Stock, distribute and/or collect patient menus.
• Perform call center duties including answering multiple line phones and inputting patient selections with dietary restrictions in mind.
• Obtain and document patient food and beverage selections and preferences as directed.
