Job summary

Corewell Health's Nutrition Services at Ludington Hospital is seeking a part-time team member to assist with patient meal service, answer phone inquiries, assemble trays, and maintain cleanliness. Training is provided to help you grow and learn new skills.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, delivering trays to patient rooms with proper patient verification, operating the dishwashing area, and maintaining equipment sanitation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year of relevant experience (customer service or related).

Responsibilities

• Sets up and maintains serving lines with dishes, silverware, hot and cold items; preps and assembles cold items like salads and nourishments.
• Delivers patient trays to rooms with verification of room numbers, bed numbers, birth dates and patient names.
• Operates cash register and handles payments when needed; balances cash and deposits money as required.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, equipment and major kitchen areas; washes pots and pans; maintains sanitary conditions.
• Assists with stock management and reporting malfunctions to management.
