Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, and manage waste streams. You will help maintain floors, carpets, and upholstery while collaborating with team members to ensure continuous service.

No experience is required; you will be fully trained and supported, with opportunities to grow and learn new skills within the hospital environment.

• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Remove linens, waste streams, and restock as needed.
• Move and maintain floorings, carpets, and upholstery in assigned areas.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist visitors and staff in navigating the hospital environment.
• Support across department sites as needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete required competencies.
