Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking staff to perform cleaning, housekeeping and general maintenance across the UCDH campus. The role involves waste handling (including regulated medical waste) and adherence to safety procedures.

The job is physically demanding, requiring lifting, walking, bending and other physical tasks on an on-site campus setting. Applicants should have a valid CA driver’s license, experience with cleaning equipment, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record or enrollment in pull notice program.
• Experience with floor care equipment, materials, procedures and best practices.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to complete tasks efficiently.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• 100% - Daily Activities - perform cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Handle waste management including regular and regulated medical waste.
• Adhere to safety policies and operate equipment as required.
