Qualifications

• Able to perform all cleaning/custodial functions including mopping, pushing and pulling carts, wall washing, vent cleaning, vacuuming.
• Understand procedures for proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemotherapy and infectious/bio-hazardous waste.
• Understand basic safety regulations and issues.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in assigned areas of the facility, in both patient and non-patient areas.
• Responsible for cleaning and safeguarding of assigned areas and equipment.
• Determines supplies needed and ensures efficient usage of supplies.
• Delivers clean linen and picks up soiled linen.
