Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Environmental Service team member for full-time evening shift (3:00pm–11:30pm). You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and public areas, following hospital protocols, using approved equipment, and supporting infection control and safety standards. Training is provided and progression opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Functional grasp of standard written and verbal English and basic math.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Flexible schedule and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient rooms, public areas, and workspaces are cleaned and disinfected per hospital standards.
• Follow hospital cleaning protocols and use approved equipment and chemicals.
• Support infection control practices and patient safety.
• Report to the Housekeeping Manager and collaborate with Environmental Services staff.
