Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking an Environmental Services Technician. This full-time role maintains a clean, sanitary environment in patient rooms, hallways and common areas on the day shift.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule with rotating weekends, competitive pay between $18.08–$26.26 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package. Hospital housekeeping experience is preferred with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent.
• 1 year of previous housekeeping/ESD experience can be considered in lieu of High School education.
• Previous hospital housekeeping/ESD experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, hallways and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Respond to spills and ensure proper waste disposal in assigned zones.
• Cross-train in other areas and pursue opportunities for professional development.
