Job summary

Coast Plaza Doctors Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services staff member to perform daily cleaning of patient care and non-patient areas under supervision. Responsibilities include complete room cleaning, restroom and fixture cleaning, terminal cleaning of isolation rooms, and assisting nursing with bed movement.

Adherence to 7-step cleaning procedures and HIPAA policies is required. Strong customer service, teamwork, and effective communication are essential to maintain a safe, clean

Qualifications

• EVS/hospital housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong communication, service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, follow verbal directions and use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient and treatment rooms thoroughly.
• Clean offices and Nursing Stations.
• Clean restrooms, tub rooms, utility rooms, nourishment rooms, showers and fixtures.
• Mop and vacuum assigned areas; handle trash and waste.
• Perform terminal cleaning and isolation room procedures.
• Respond to calls for assigned areas and follow 7-step cleaning procedures.
