Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide to perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks, ensuring a neat, clean, and safe facility in accordance with regulatory standards.

You will support the facility by delivering floor care, linen handling, and safe movement of furniture and equipment, while documenting activities and participating in staff meetings. Strong English communication and basic math skills are required.

Competenze

• Must be able to read, write and speak English to follow directions and document completion.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics for supply usage and schedules.
• Positive, service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• Ability to interpret information for age-specific patient needs per policies.

Mansioni

• Delivers a clean, safe environment following EVS policies and Joint Commission standards.
• Performs hard floor care: stripping, waxing, buffing; shampoos carpet/upholstery as assigned.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies safely using proper body mechanics.
• Distributes and handles clean and soiled linen as assigned.
• Completes department documentation within established time frames (daily/monthly sheets, time-off requests).
• Attends educational sessions and participates in process improvements and staff meetings.
