Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe hospital environment across all areas. You will use vacuums, mops, and floor polishers, and support a tidy, well-organized facility while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role may require working weekdays, weekends, evenings or nights. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior housekeeping experience valued to deliver high-quality patient care environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred.
• May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across hospital areas according to quality standards and regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as vacuums, mops, and polishers to perform cleaning duties.
