Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services / House Keeper in Birmingham, AL. The role requires cleaning and laundry tasks, adherence to safety, and support of the facility’s appearance in a medical environment.

Candidates should be able to read instructions, perform floor care, lift up to 75 pounds, and operate cleaning equipment. An orientation program and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Experience with routine floor care and general facility maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to measure proper chemical solutions for tasks.
• Operates floor machines, vacuums, washers, dryers, and gardening equipment.
• Basic computer skills for records and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and laundry tasks per established routines.
• Maintain facility appearance under supervision of Environmental Service Manager.
• Work safely within safety policies and report hazards.
• Assist with general upkeep of building, grounds, and equipment.
• Complete tasks in medical environment with attention to infection control.
