Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing) to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Collects and disposes of waste following hospital policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas per infection control standards.
• Responds to spills and conducts contamination cleanups with proper disinfection.
• Keeps cleaning logs and reports tasks completed; communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains regular attendance and follows all policies.
