You will perform floor care, waste handling, linen processing, spill cleanup, and routine sanitizing in accordance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

You will document cleaning tasks, communicate maintenance needs, monitor supplies, and support regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to safely handle biohazardous and infectious waste in accordance with infection control standards.
• Familiarity with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and proper usage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules effectively.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety procedures for environmental services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.

Responsabilidades

• Performs floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing to maintain cleanliness.
• Collects and disposes of waste, including biohazardous materials, following policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags, ensuring proper containment.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Responds to spills and performs disinfection with safety precautions.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning or relocation.
• Monitors cleaning supply usage and ensures safe storage.
• Communicates maintenance and repair needs to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains accurate cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains reliability.
