Job summary

Havenwyck Hospital in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, residential treatment center, and branch facilities. You will work under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor to keep patient rooms, nursing units, and offices clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping work experience preferred.
• Employees must be in good standing for internal transfer consideration.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services nursing units, patient rooms, baths, bathrooms, and business offices.
• Cleans and mops floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Cleans windows and window sills.
• Empties trash baskets and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
• Uses necessary equipment and supplies in proper manner to accomplish task.
• Detects unclean areas and maintains Hospital cleaning standards.
• Exercises initiative to maintain assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepares soiled linen for pick up by contract laundry.
