Job summary

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain high cleanliness standards across patient rooms, offices, and public areas. Shift is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

You will follow infection prevention standards and use hospital-approved disinfectants. Roles emphasize teamwork, adherence to safety protocols, and commitment to the hospital mission and patient wellbeing.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training to be completed within one year if required by position location.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, offices, conference rooms, equipment, and common areas following infection prevention standards.
Collaborates with multiple departments to meet patient and department priorities.
Works independently or on a team to achieve system standards.
Learns and uses required personal protective equipment per infection prevention protocol.
Handles various wastes (regular, recycling, hazardous, chemo, radioactive) per regulations.
Follows federal, state, and local standards and hospital policies.
Supports hospital mission, values, policies, and confidentiality.
