Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician at the Neenah Regional Medical Center to maintain cleanliness and infection prevention standards across patient rooms and common areas. Schedule: 7-3:30p, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Company provided Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training to be completed within one year of employment if required by position location.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, offices, and common areas per infection prevention standards.
• Collaborates with departments to meet patient and department priorities.
• Works independently or on a team to achieve system standards.
• Uses proper hospital-approved chemicals and follows dwell times for each task.
• Handles various waste types including regular, recycling, hazardous, chemo, regulated medical waste, pharmaceutical, and radioactive.
