Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI. Schedule: 7-3:30p, Monday-Friday, every other weekend and holiday required.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, and supporting infection prevention standards to ensure a safe patient environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to complete MOAB training within a year if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training to be completed within one year if required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, floors, offices, conference rooms, equipment, furniture, common areas, and waiting rooms following infection prevention standards.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure patient and department priorities are met day-to-day for safe outcomes.
• Works independently or on a team to achieve system standards.
• Learns and uses required personal protective equipment per infection prevention protocol.
• Handles various types of waste such as regular, recycling, hazardous, chemo, and regulated medical waste.
