Job summary

ThedaCare Environmental Services Technician position at ThedaCare Medical Center - New London, Wisconsin, provides high-standard cleaning and disinfection across patient rooms and common areas. You will follow infection prevention standards and use proper PPE while supporting hospital operations.

Schedule: 2p-10:30p, Monday-Friday with every 4th weekend rotation and 1-2 holidays required. 40 scheduled hours per week; OT exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training to be completed within one year of employment if required by position location.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, floors, offices, conference rooms, equipment, furniture, common areas, and waiting rooms following hospital-approved infection prevention standards.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure patient and department priorities are met day-to-day that result in the safest outcome for our patients and customers.
• Learns and uses required personal protective equipment per infection prevention protocol.
