Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Full-time Environmental Services Associate at Lexington Medical Center. The role covers cleaning, waste handling, and maintaining a safe, clean environment across units, corridors, and public spaces. The position is 40 hours/week, 2nd shift, with benefits eligible.

High school diploma or GED preferred and one year experience preferred. Pay range $18.85–$28.30 per hour. You will work in a fast-paced setting, use cleaning chemicals safely, and contribute to infection

Qualifications

• One year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, and floor care.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants with safety.
• Transport waste, linens, sharps, and recyclables to proper containers and areas.
• Maintain and report equipment condition; keep tools clean and ready.
• Follow infection control guidelines and departmental quality standards.
• Attend in-service safety and training to maintain technical knowledge.
• Meet time schedules and deadlines consistently.
