Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a full-time Environmental Services Technician for its Charlotte area facilities. This role performs cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, healthy hospital environment on the second shift.

Starting wage ranges and full-time benefits reflect commitment to staff wellbeing. Eligible applicants will have a high school diploma or GED; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work on time.
• Ability to operate equipment.
• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting and sanitizing furniture, washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures.
• Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpet.
• Restocking restrooms and replacing light bulbs; reporting repairs to maintenance staff.
• Most work is indoors; may assist with outdoor cleaning such as parking lot, windows, and roof.
• Maintain safe working environment and comply with infection control guidelines and quality standards.
