Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Environmental Services Aide to clean patient care areas, surgical spaces, restrooms, lobbies and offices within the hospital facility. This full-time role supports infection control and safe patient environments, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

The position offers a 36-hour work week from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Pay ranges from $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Cleans all environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls and furniture; assists in cleaning spills.
• Dusts and mops floors in patient and exam areas, corridors and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste per guidelines.
• Inventory of linens, supplies and equipment; maintains tidy housekeeping areas.
